To our Aussie likers confused about all the “Black Friday” posts on FB (as there’s no Friday 13th in sight!)…
“Black Friday” in the USA & Canada is the day after Thanksgiving Day and falls on the Friday after the fourth Thursday in November. It is the biggest shopping day of the year and a holiday in some states. (Coined because it’s often the first day of the year that retailers would finally begin to shift from running their businesses in the red to running in the black!)
