My new QR code business cards

I’m so excited that my new business cards that I’m taking to Helsinki are ready today. I mentioned QR Codes in a post recently so I thought you might be interested to see how they work. (This is a pic of the back of my new business card.)
All you need to do is to scan them with a QR Code reader app on your mobile phone. These come as standard on some of the newer smartphones, although not on the iPhone – but it’s not a problem if you don’t already have one on your mobile phone because you can download a QR Code Reader app for free.

On my card I have three QR Codes –
- a link to my Staying in Touch Website,
- our Business Facebook Page (although Facebook have a problem at the moment! Ha ha), and
- my Contact Details via MECARD format which means you can instantly save my contact details into your phone’s address book.
There are many applications for this new technology. Using it in your marketing to drive traffic to your website can be very effective. Call me if you have any queries or would like to know more.
