I don’t know how she does it! – BPW Joondalup May Dinner Meeting
May 2012
Business & Productivity, Events
Guest speakers at BPW Joondalup will take a fresh look at the many balls women juggle with a specific emphasis on the psychological implications for women’s emotional and mental health.
BPW Joondalup’s guest speakers this month are two clinical psychologists, who will lead a discussion about women’s mental health issues, and specifically the challenge women still face in juggling so many balls!
We all know that this is a huge issue, so feel free to invite friends and colleagues. It would be brilliant to get some young women along to share their views, as they’re going to be a driving force in defining what domestic and work life looks like in the near future.
Madalena Grobbelaar lectures in psychology at ECU and works in private practice in North Fremantle. She is currently completing her Doctoral thesis in clinical psychology.
Sonia Smuts is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist working in private practice in West Perth. She is also the juggling mother of three young boys.
Madalena and Sonia will be talking to us about the challenges women encounter in their continuing role as caretakers of society.
