Liz Flatters is a small business owner with a strong marketing background and skills in business development and strategic thinking. With her husband and business partner Brett, Liz runs a successful small business - a marketing and graphic design company called Staying in Touch.
In 2006 Liz graduated from the University of Western Australia with the degree of Master of Business Administration.
Liz has had many years experience on the boards and committees of business groups, government and not-for-profit organisations. These appointments include:
- McCusker Learning & Development Strategic Advisory Group (formerly the Sir James McCusker Training Foundation set up by Anglican Homes) (2005 to present)
- State Training Board Small Business Training Committee (2003-2005)
- Business SWAP Australia - Local & State level (1992-2000); National (2000-2002)
- BPW Joondalup (1998-present)
- BEC (Business Enterprise Centre) Joondalup (1996-2002)
- Joondalup Business Association (1995-2002)
Liz is a member of:
- the Graduate Management Association, University of Western Australia
- Federation of Business & Professional Women (BPW) - currently President BPW Joondalup
- Australian Federation of University Women (WA) - AFUW
- Joondalup Business Association (JBA)
- and is a Fellow and Honorary Life Member of Business SWAP Australia.
