Local business woman wins recognition – (LtoR) Arlene Quinn – BPW WA President, Liz Flatters – award winner, and Marilyn Forsythe – BPW Australia President.

Local business woman and Connolly resident, Liz Flatters, has been recognised for her leadership skills, contribution to the community and career success to date by winning the BPW “Woman of the Year” award.
Finalists competed in a recent awards night, at the BPW (International Federation of Business & Professional Women) Western Australia state conference held in Bunbury, by presenting a speech on the theme “What influences the choices women make in 2008”.
“The BPW Woman of the Year award acknowledges a woman for her BPW and career achievements as well as recognising her potential,” said BPW WA President Arlene Quinn. “It is awarded to a woman who is both achieving success personally and who is committed to raising the status of women through her work with BPW.”
As the award winner, in addition to her role as a BPW WA ambassador, Liz will now represent Western Australia when she competes at the next BPW Australia national conference in 2010.
